A boat lift keeps your hull out of the water, away from waves and weeds — but it needs to come out before ice forms and go back in level in the spring.
Lift work is usually done on the same visit as your dock, so you only book once.
What’s included
- Boat lift and PWC lift removal before freeze-up
- Spring installation and levelling
- Checking cables, winches and bunks
- Positioning the lift for your boat and water depth
When you need it
- You have a lift that stays in the water
- Your boat sits crooked on the lift
- You bought a new lift
- You want lift and dock done in one trip
How it works
- Tell us about your dock — Type, length and location. Photos help but are not required.
- Get a clear quote — A local crew calls you back with a price and an available date.
- We handle the heavy lifting — Your dock comes out (or goes in) and you get on with your weekend.
What affects the price
Every property is different, so quotes are based on a few things:
- Lift type and weight capacity
- Water depth where the lift sits
- Whether the dock is done at the same time
- Shoreline access for moving the lift
Request a quote and you’ll get a clear price before anything is booked.
Boat lifts & PWC lifts — questions
Does a boat lift have to come out every winter?
On Georgian Bay, most do. Ice can bend legs and frames on lifts left in the water.
Can you move my lift to a better spot?
Yes — it can be repositioned during spring installation if the depth or angle was not right.
